The church also maintains a 'Take and Tend Garden' — a community vegetable garden created over 12 years ago where anyone can tend the garden and harvest what they need. The congregation is a small, historically African American church that partners with other Episcopal congregations to staff its food distribution. Beyond food assistance, the church offers ESL classes serving a growing Haitian immigrant population and immigration assistance with paperwork and document processing.
