    Governors' Village STEM Academy (Lower) is one of more than 50 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools sites participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program. Operated by CMS School Nutrition Services under Executive Director Cathy Beam Essick, the site provides free, nutritious summer meals to school-age youth when regular school meals are unavailable.
