A church-operated community food-assistance resource run through Calvary Chapel Gloucester County's Revive Ministry for the church family and surrounding community.

Mother's Cupboard is Washington Township's community food pantry, run by the township's Family & Community Services Department with strong support from the Washington Township Rotary Club and other community donors. It provides no-fee groceries (food staples) to township residents in need and distributes food to over 500 people each month. All food supplies come from donations, and volunteers staff the pantry.

Apostles Lutheran Church provides walk-in food assistance through its food pantry to people in need in Gloucester County, New Jersey. The pantry is open to the public and registration occurs when food is picked up; no fee is listed.

Please call 609-405-7729 the Wednesday before our food bank and leave a message if you would like to pick up a food box donation for the first time. A volunteer will give you a call back to collect some information needed along with making sure you know where to go to pick up the food. If you missed calling us by Wednesday, you are still welcome to come from 5pm until 7pm on the 1st and 3rd Saturday to pick-up food.

Show a state photo ID or driver’s license with a current address (cannot be expired). If the address is not current on the ID or if you’re using a passport, you will also need to show a utility bill dated within the past 2 months that has the same name and address on it. You may also go online to the DMV and change your address and they will send you a letter. You can bring this letter with you as proof of your current address. If baby items are needed, you must show either the original birth certificate OR hospital discharge papers. Foster parents in need of baby items must show the State Placement paperwork WITH the raised seal. No pictures on the phone will be accepted. ID must be presented every time you are receiving help from the Haven. If you are currently homeless and living in a hotel, a receipt from the hotel with name and room number is required. If you are living in a vehicle, information about who resides in the vehicle and a driver’s license number. If you are not in a vehicle or at a physical address, county information of your location is required. If receiving a birthday bag, a child’s birth certificate is required. Free shopping is limited to every 30 days, per household. Pop up events and on Saturdays, specialty meals, as well as pastries and breads are available. Availability is posted on our Facebook page. These specialty events are not part of the 30 day, per household requirement. Winslow Township School No. 4 participates in the New Jersey Summer Food Service Program, providing free snacks to children 18 years of age and younger in the community. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and snacks are served on-site. The school is one of several Summer Food Service Program locations run by the Winslow Township School District so that kids keep getting nutritious food while school is out for the summer.
