    Part of the Solution (POTS) provides healthy groceries and meals. The Food Pantry distributes groceries to households. Registration is required on-site, typically Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM. The Community Dining Room offers a healthy lunch six days a week from 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Case management is available for walk-ins on Mondays from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. They also offer additional services such as dentistry, a barbershop, hot meals, and free English classes.

    This pantry is open to the community. Anyone interested in pantry must call the center at 646.596.1316 on Tuesdays or Assistant Program Director Dominique Jackson at 646.907.4000 to schedule an appointment. While appointments are preferred, we do accept walk-ins.

    Distribution takes place inside the Twin Parks West Community Center, which is located behind 365 Ford Street. Appointments are made on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.

    St. Simon Stock Food Pantry is a parish-based food pantry operated by St. Simon Stock–St. Joseph Parish in the Tremont/Fordham section of the Bronx in partnership with Catholic Charities of New York's Feeding Our Neighbors program, which supports dozens of parish pantries across the Archdiocese. Founded in the 1980s as a modest parish initiative, it has grown into a vital weekly resource serving hundreds of local families. The pantry distributes bags of groceries that include fresh produce (vegetables) along with shelf-stable and protein staples such as rice, beans, milk, chicken, and fish, and also partners with Columbia University to offer Alzheimer's screenings and other health workshops for seniors in the community.
