    The Decatur Bible Chapel food pantry has been serving the community since 2016, providing free groceries to everyone with no discrimination based on race, color, or religious affiliation. Warm, friendly volunteers distribute pantry items and free hot soup, and will also pray with visitors upon request. No appointment is necessary. On Saturdays, the pantry is paired with the Parents & Kids Club, which welcomes parents and children from babies to age 18 for crafts, games, Bible stories, lunch, birthday gifts, and a free coffee shop where parents can connect.

    Operated by the First African Community Development Corporation, the largest African-American food distribution network in Georgia, this bi-weekly food pantry distributes fresh produce and assorted dry goods to community members experiencing food insecurity. The pantry is hosted at New Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and operates as a drive-thru community distribution. FACDC collectively distributes over two million pounds of food each year through partner churches, schools, and community organizations across metro Atlanta.
