    Info

Eastern Area Community Ministries (EACM) provides emergency food and financial assistance to residents of eastern Jefferson County. The food pantry operates as a full client-choice model where participants shop for their own groceries with the help of volunteer companions. Emergency pre-packed food boxes are also available for one-time visitors. EACM also offers a diaper closet, a home-delivered meals program for anyone facing a life event that makes meal preparation difficult, free English classes and citizenship preparation, and the Helping Hands Partnership program that provides case management, mentorship, and workshops for long-term stability.
