Operated seasonally through a partnership between New Saint John Missionary Baptist Church and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools School Nutrition Services.

New Waves of Joy Baptist Church hosts a free summer meal program that provides nutritious breakfast and lunch to children and teens. Operated as a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Summer Meals initiative site, meals are served in the church's Fellowship Hall (the white building) on the campus. The church also serves as a community gathering place with Sunday worship and weekly Bible study.

A community meal site hosted by Greater Bethel AME Church that provides free, ready-to-eat breakfast and lunch to children and teens ages 18 and younger during the summer months. The church welcomes neighborhood families in a friendly, faith-based setting and also partners with community organizations to host year-round food assistance on its campus.

A free USDA Summer Food Service Program meal site run by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools School Nutrition Services in partnership with Freedom School Partners, hosted at The Grove Church. Children receive a healthy breakfast and lunch as part of a six-week summer literacy and enrichment program. Open to all children in the community regardless of registration.

The Bulb brings barrier-free mobile farmers markets to neighborhoods across Charlotte all year long. No sign-up. No ID. No cost. Just fresh food for all, shared with dignity-no questions asked. Each week, we host outdoor markets full of fresh, nutritious, and absolutely delicious produce. You'll find a rotating mix of seasonal fruits, veggies, herbs, and more. -When you visit, we may ask a few brief (and totally optional) questions. This helps us make sure we bring enough food for everyone and it supports the funding that keeps our markets running strong.
