A community environmental education center located in a renovated historic stone stable in Cobbs Creek Park. The center provides environmental and civic education programs to underserved communities, including hands-on nature activities, water quality testing, biodiversity studies, and teacher training. The facility features meadows, forest area, two creeks, and a wetland, along with a laboratory with scientific equipment and high-tech classrooms. The center also hosts summer camps and community events. During summer months, it participates in the USDA-funded Summer Meals Program, providing free breakfast and lunch to children and teens ages 18 and under with no ID or registration required. Meals must be eaten on site per USDA regulations.
