Founded in 2006, the BRUU Emergency Food Pantry serves approximately 100 families per month in the Manassas area. Each household receives a minimum of three days' worth of food based on family size, with shoppers selecting items from stocked shelves. The pantry is open to anyone in need, with particular focus on those who are homeless, underemployed, or unemployed and lack transportation to other food resources. Food is sourced through community donations, the Capital Area Food Bank, and the USDA's Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
