    Info

Every Day is a Miracle is a food organization program operating across New York City with sites in The Bronx and Harlem. This location operates as a client-choice, supermarket-style food pantry, distributing free, fresh, and well-balanced groceries. Appointments are optional and used to minimize wait times; walk-in on-site registration is available. Delivery of fresh groceries is available at no cost for expectant mothers, new parents (newborn up to 2 months old), elderly residents (65+), and homebound or disabled individuals. The main phone number uses an automated system where callers can select options for specific locations or services; please note that some options may route unexpectedly (e.g., a Harlem option might redirect to a Bronx pantry). St. Simon Stock Food Pantry is a parish-based food pantry operated by St. Simon Stock–St. Joseph Parish in the Tremont/Fordham section of the Bronx in partnership with Catholic Charities of New York's Feeding Our Neighbors program, which supports dozens of parish pantries across the Archdiocese. Founded in the 1980s as a modest parish initiative, it has grown into a vital weekly resource serving hundreds of local families. The pantry distributes bags of groceries that include fresh produce (vegetables) along with shelf-stable and protein staples such as rice, beans, milk, chicken, and fish, and also partners with Columbia University to offer Alzheimer's screenings and other health workshops for seniors in the community.
