Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools provides free breakfast and lunch through the USDA-funded Summer Food Service Program, giving children and teens 18 and younger access to nutritious meals during summer break when school meals are not available. Operated by CMS School Nutrition Services, the program requires no registration or documentation — families simply visit the school cafeteria during posted serving hours.

The Bulb brings barrier-free mobile farmers markets to neighborhoods across Charlotte all year long. No sign-up. No ID. No cost. Just fresh food for all, shared with dignity-no questions asked. Each week, we host outdoor markets full of fresh, nutritious, and absolutely delicious produce. You'll find a rotating mix of seasonal fruits, veggies, herbs, and more. -When you visit, we may ask a few brief (and totally optional) questions. Free, nutritious breakfast and lunch meals and snacks are served on-site to children and teens 18 and under. No registration, ID, or proof of income is required; meals must be eaten on-site.
