Xavier Mission's Welcome Table is a sit-down soup kitchen serving a hot, nutritious lunch every Sunday — the one day most other NYC soup kitchens are closed. In addition to the meal, guests can access assistance with government benefits and birth certificates, legal referrals, health screenings, and other support services. The program has been serving New Yorkers in need since 1983 and serves roughly 1,000 meals each Sunday.
