**INFORMATION:

• We hand out Pre-Packed Boxes of Food on Wednesday's and Friday’s. Contents vary each day.
• WE DO NOT USE A NUMBER SYSTEM.
• Names are written down at 11:45am and called in RANDOM order, regardless of when you arrived. ALL will be served.
• There are NO requirements to claim free food, you just need to be INSIDE the church at 11:45am BEFORE the doors are Closed.

What is the current food distribution schedule (date/times)?:

• Please arrive by 11:45am on Wednesday’s and Friday’s. (Clothing is available on Friday's Only in limited quantities.)
• If you would like to wait inside, doors open at 10:30am but we do not begin until 11:45am.

We are normally closed on most major holidays but please keep an eye on our Facebook page or Website for closing information closer to a holiday date. @ecchackensack

A church‑run food pantry providing free groceries and toiletries to local families once a month. Distribution occurs on the last Sunday of each month at 11:30 am, on a first‑come, first‑served basis until food runs out. The pantry also accepts donations of food and household items.

Once every 3 weeks, our guests can make an appointment to receive a box of non-perishable food, along with fresh produce, meat, dairy, and bread, as available. AUCC Ummah’s Kitchen is a state-certified food pantry proudly partnered with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ). We provide nutritious food to individuals and families across Bergen, Hudson, and Passaic counties — no questions asked. Our mission is simple: to fight hunger with dignity, compassion, and accessibility for all.

The food pantry is usually held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Due to the weather, they were supposed to be open today, but they are closely monitoring conditions since it is very cold. There is a possibility they will open on Monday, 02/09/26 instead.

At this time, the distribution schedule may vary. They send out text messages to neighborhood residents whenever food is available for distribution.

Clients are required to fill out a simple application that asks for name, town, ZIP code, telephone number, and date of birth; a full street address is not needed. The Hackensack food distribution site is located at 351 First Street (Elks Lodge), in the parking lot at the back of the building.
