The Frederick Food Bank is operated by the City of Frederick's Department of Housing and Human Services. It provides a three- to five-day supply of nutritious groceries to individuals and families facing economic hardship, serving between 600 and 800 households each month. The program serves very low-income to moderate-income residents and operates as a nondiscriminatory program following USDA guidelines. Two locations serve the community: the Downtown Food Bank and the Trinity Food Bank. The department also offers the Frederick Community Table (community meal program), health care, housing support, and other social services.
