El Coqui Liberation Community Garden is a South Bronx community garden that hosts a mutual-aid food pantry through Mission Helping Hand's Garden Project. Community-based food pantry in the South Bronx operated by Morrisania Revitalization Corporation. The pantry distributes groceries to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and offers fresh produce through the FreshConnect Food Box program in partnership with GrowNYC. SNAP and EBT are accepted, and anyone who is hungry or at risk of hunger is welcome, regardless of immigration status. Beyond groceries, clients can access free counseling with licensed social workers, case management, nutrition education, health screenings, and senior wellness programming for ages 55 and older.
