    Serves Sussex county. Families need to complete the 2024-25 school meal & summer EBT application to receive summer benefits ($120 per eligible child)- name spelling, address, etc. all need to be up to date and accurate! Summer EBT Outreach Toolkit" https://hungerfreenj.org/summer-ebt-2024/ NJ SNAP is a nutrition assistance program to help individuals and families with low incomes buy the groceries they need to eat healthy with a benefits card accepted in most food retail stores and some farmers markets. Eligibility is determined by several factors, such as income and resources.

    Delivery services are very limited and are reserved for senior citizens or those with serious medical problems. If you believe you fall into either category, let us know and we may be able to help you find options in Monroe.

    Bags of food are given to your neighbors in need.
    Currently close to 75 to 100 households are served.
    Some people in these households are unemployed
    Often there is not enough income
    Some have physical or mental disabilities
    There are home-bound seniors
    Quite a few are single-parent households
    Some 75 local children benefit from our food distribution programs
