Info

Kitchen of Love Distribution Center provides free groceries to over 500 Philadelphia residents each week. Founded by Marlene Trice, who began her community service over twenty years ago by shopping for and transporting seniors. The program distributes canned goods and meat on Thursdays, fresh fruits and vegetables on Fridays, and senior food boxes on the first Thursday of each month. During holidays, the center provides hot meals and Thanksgiving turkeys for seniors, and Christmas toys for children in need. There is a waiting list for new clients due to high demand.
