Open Hand Atlanta

Open Hand Atlanta is one of the largest community-based providers of home-delivered meals and nutrition services in the United States, serving over 5,000 meals daily across Georgia. Every meal is made from scratch and medically tailored by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to address severe and chronic illnesses, following a 'food as medicine' philosophy. The organization is accredited by the Food is Medicine Coalition and delivers throughout metro Atlanta and the entire state of Georgia. All services are provided free of charge to eligible clients. Groceries and market baskets with fresh produce are available for clients who can prepare their own meals. Good Measure Meals, a social enterprise, offers a paid meal delivery option for those who do not qualify for free services, with all profits supporting Open Hand's mission. Nutrition education programs are also available.
