Información
"Important update for SNAP recipients: New federal work requirements may affect adults ages 18 to 64 who don't have children under 14. If this applies to you, you may need to report work, training, or volunteer hours each month to keep your benefits. Some people may qualify for an exemption. Timelines vary by state, so don't wait to find out if you're affected. For more information, visit the USDA SNAP Work Requirements page, or contact your local SNAP office or call 211."
If you need help completing the application form or need more information about benefits, trained county assistance office staff can help you in person.
To get SNAP benefits, your income has to be under certain limits. SNAP households may receive deductions from their gross income for things like housing costs, child or dependent care payments, and medical expenses more than $35 for older adults or people with disabilities.
