Tampa Family Health Center-SNAP Assistance

Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) West Tampa is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with a dedicated on-site Patient Resource Specialist who assists with SNAP/Food Stamp applications and recertifications, Medicaid applications and recertifications, Hillsborough County Health Care Plan (HCHCP) applications, Marketplace insurance applications, and other community social services. This is a health center, not a food distribution site — the Patient Resource Specialist helps clients navigate and apply for benefits rather than providing food directly. A sliding fee program based on income and household size is available for medical visits, and the center serves patients regardless of ability to pay or immigration status.
