    Info

Martha's Closet is a food pantry at Malaga United Methodist Church, named in honor of Martha Langley, a faithful church member since 1947 who served the congregation for over 70 years. The pantry shares emergency food with love and respect, serving 50 to 60 families each month. It is stocked through congregational donations on Communion Sundays (the first Sunday of each month), support from sister churches Porchtown Zion UMC and Plainville UMC, and community food and monetary contributions. The pantry is located in the church basement, accessed through the doors between the sanctuary and the parsonage. A clothing closet operated by Porchtown Zion UMC is available at the same time.
