Hope Diamond Services Inc operates a USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) at Douglas Estates Mobile Park, providing free breakfast and lunch meals to children in the community. The program aims to support low-income families by ensuring access to nutritional meals during the summer.

St. Luke UMC is a drive-thru distribution site for the MUST Ministries Summer Lunch program, which provides free meal kits to children when school is out for the summer. Each kit includes a week's worth of shelf-stable breakfast items, lunch items, and snacks for one child. The program serves families across multiple metro Atlanta counties including Cobb, Bartow, Cherokee, Douglas, Fulton, Paulding, Pickens, and Gwinnett. Volunteers pack the meal kits and also deliver them directly to neighborhoods for families who cannot visit a drive-thru site. St. Luke UMC is a small community church known as the 'Little Church with a Big Heart,' partnering with MUST Ministries to help feed children in the Mableton area.

The DCSS program earned the USDA Turnip the Beet Gold Award for summer meal excellence, recognized for serving hot meals rather than cold bag lunches, with a varied menu including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and local foods.
