APNA Community Services provides culturally appropriate food assistance through regular food distribution and a weekly pantry, including fresh produce, pantry staples, and freshly prepared halal meals. It also provides hot meal distribution, home deliveries for senior adults, case management, benefits assistance, domestic-violence support, senior services, job-readiness and career support, legal and tax services, translation/interpretation, and community programs. Services are available regardless of immigration status or documentation.

BRCDC is a Brooklyn nonprofit food pantry serving South Brooklyn families. They distribute fresh produce, halal meat, hot meals, and groceries in partnership with Islamic Relief USA, the Turkish American National Steering Committee, and the NYC Mayor's Office, serving hundreds of families each week. They are one of the few pantries in New York that provides fresh food alongside non-perishable groceries, and also offer broader social services including casework support and benefits assistance to connect local residents with available programs.

Salt and Sea Mission Church, Inc. distributes groceries to community members. Tickets are distributed starting at 10:00 am, and clients are advised to arrive early. New clients are asked to come at 10:00 am. A working cell phone is required for first-time registration. Toiletries may also be available. Ready-to-eat meals may be offered on weekends.

A New York City Department of Education Free Summer Meals site run through the Office of Food and Nutrition Services' Summer Food Service Program. Children and teens receive free, ready-to-eat breakfast and lunch on weekdays throughout the summer. Children simply walk in during meal service — no registration, identification, or income proof is required.
