    The Interfaith Works Food Pantry is a client-choice pantry located within the IW Essential Needs Center, allowing individuals and families to select their own food and diapers in a store-like setting. The pantry primarily serves residents of Rockville and surrounding areas in specific zip codes. Families outside the served zip codes may still access food after completing a monthly Clothing Center appointment. The Essential Needs Center also houses the IW Clothing Center and connects visitors to additional resources and social services. Shopping is by appointment only, scheduled through SignUpGenius links on the Interfaith Works website.

    Manna Food distribution occurs in the upper parking lot, by the cafeteria on the side of the building.

    To receive food, you will speak with a referral representative who will ask a few questions to confirm eligibility:

    • Are you a Montgomery County resident?
    • Does your household income fall below the self-sufficiency threshold?
    • Which day and location is most convenient for your food pickup?

    To schedule a food pickup, please call Manna’s main office at (301) 424-1130. Calls are accepted Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You must call by 12:00 PM the day before your desired pickup date to allow time for your order to be prepared.

    When picking up food, please bring a photo ID with your current Montgomery County address or a document proving county residency.

    If you are unable to pick up your food on the scheduled day, please call Manna to reschedule.
