• A valid picture ID
• Proof of your residency
• Income statement, no later than two weeks if you are employed and if it is SSI once a calendar year
• Proof of your HIV status, which would be in the form of lab work showing your CD4 and viral load. This document is needed once a calendar year
• Proof of medical insurance

These are all the requirements that we ask you to bring for your initial registration for Food bank services. Noted that we do have an every six month check to make sure all customers are in compliance with their documentation. Customers are able to come in twice a month on schedule appointments only.

• Emergency food requirements:

• Proof of your DC residency only residence are eligible for emergency food
• Proof of identification
• Proof of how many dependents reside in the residence with you
• Proof of income
• If you have other adults that live in your household, you cannot register them. They must register as an individual on their own, and they can also receive food.

We have drivers that deliver food near our location but the drivers require a donation to make the trip.

One can access once a month.Provided an emergency two day supply of food only.

• The Food Pantry can be accessed via the rear entrance of the Atonement Episcopal Church.
• In December the pantry will be on 3rd Saturday.

Services: Clients also receive health, educational, and employment materials. Spiritual counseling and prayer is offered by Deaconess and Ministers of the Fisherman’s Ministry. Registered Deanwood residents are provided a monthly service and residents from other communities are served based on need.
