    Highways Social Services is the social services and emergency food pantry program of The Windmill Alliance, Inc., a non-profit organization based in Bayonne, NJ (operating since 1985), associated with Trinity Parish in Bergen Point. The food pantry distributes donated groceries from local stores and food distributors to individuals and families in need regardless of religious affiliation. In addition to year-round emergency food distribution, Highways provides Thanksgiving food baskets, a fall Backpack Program with back-to-school supplies for low-income families, and a Christmas toy collection for children. The program also operates a low-cost Thrift Store that helps fund social services. Crisis intervention, counseling, and life coaching are available to the community.
