Hope for the Hungry Food Pantry exists to share the love, joy, hope and power of Jesus Christ as we distribute food for those who are in need in our community.

A church-operated community food-assistance ministry serving the church family and surrounding community through Calvary Chapel Gloucester County's Revive Ministry, an official South Jersey Food Bank.

Mother's Cupboard is Washington Township's community food pantry, run by the township's Family & Community Services Department with strong support from the Washington Township Rotary Club and other community donors. It provides no-fee groceries (food staples) to township residents in need and distributes food to over 500 people each month. All food supplies come from donations, and volunteers staff the pantry.

Drive-thru curbside pantry operated by the Center for Independent Living of South Jersey at the Mary Ann Wardlow Center for Community Nutrition. Entry is via the Woodbury-Turnersville Road entrance. Clients should ensure their trunk or passenger seat is accessible for food placement. Please wait behind the building and do not arrive early. Diapers and pet food are also distributed while supplies last.

Church-run food pantry providing food assistance by appointment. Call the church office to schedule; distribution occurs twice weekly. A low-cost clothing ministry operates on site. They do not have any Spanish speakers or translators, so please come with a translator to avoid misunderstanding.

Show a state photo ID or driver’s license with a current address (cannot be expired). If the address is not current on the ID or if you’re using a passport, you will also need to show a utility bill dated within the past 2 months that has the same name and address on it. You may also go online to the DMV and change your address and they will send you a letter. You can bring this letter with you as proof of your current address. If baby items are needed, you must show either the original birth certificate OR hospital discharge papers. Foster parents in need of baby items must show the State Placement paperwork WITH the raised seal. No pictures on the phone will be accepted. ID must be presented every time you are receiving help from the Haven. If you are currently homeless and living in a hotel, a receipt from the hotel with name and room number is required. If you are living in a vehicle, information about who resides in the vehicle and a driver’s license number. If you are not in a vehicle or at a physical address, county information of your location is required. If receiving a birthday bag, a child’s birth certificate is required. Free shopping is limited to every 30 days, per household. Pop up events and on Saturdays, specialty meals, as well as pastries and breads are available. Availability is posted on our Facebook page. These specialty events are not part of the 30 day, per household requirement. Hope Mobile is a mobile food pantry operated by the Food Bank of South Jersey that travels into neighborhoods designated as fresh-food deserts to provide free groceries in the church parking lot. Distribution numbers are handed out starting at 7:00 AM on the morning of distribution, and food is given out on a first come, first served basis until supplies run out. Eligible households are served in Monroe Township, Sicklerville, Washington Township, and Williamstown. Clients should bring their own bags or boxes to carry groceries home.
