Somerset County residents only. All services are free and available directly without referrals from other agencies. This is not a government agency and personal information is not reported to anyone. You can register and receive food on your first visit with no waiting period. The main pantry-warehouse offers a much larger selection than the satellite locations. Clients can browse and choose their own food. In addition to groceries, personal care items and cleaning supplies are available (ask staff for items not on shelves).

A food-assistance ministry of Zarephath Christian Church that serves struggling individuals and families in its designated service area.

Feeding Hands Food Pantry hosts its Manville site at Emmanuel Baptist Church, serving Manville residents. Provides groceries and other resources to individuals and families in need in a welcoming, dignified environment. Beyond food, the organization helps connect guests with additional services they may need. Open to all regardless of race, color, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, religion, age, or disability.

Pantry assists anyone looking for assistance. Delivery is available for senior citizens and those you do not or cannot drive.

Distributes free food and basic household and personal-care items to families and individuals in need. The pantry provides food assistance, with items varying by availability, and the affiliated ministry also operates a clothing resource.

Food Room: Open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 a.m.-12 noon and the third Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. (excluding July & August). Limited capacity, arrive early. Clients are limited to once a month service and must show proof of residency in Piscataway, Dunellen, Middlesex, South Plainfield, Edison, Highland Park or Green Brook. Must show proof of need (eg. TANF, SSI, WIC, FOOD STAMPS, MEDICAID, DISABILITY, WELFARE, UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION) or show proof of low household income not in excess of Federal Guidelines. Canned and refrigerated food donations, personal care products and pet food accepted. Fishes & Loaves Cafe: Free, home-cooked dinners for anyone in need the third Friday of each month (excluding July & August). Eat-In the cafe 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. or take-out meals. Held at the former school cafeteria at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, New Market Road, Piscataway. All are welcome!

Free food distribution in partnership with Beginning World Changers for Middlesex County residents in need. Held in front of the church on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 11:00 am until food runs out.
