    The Open Door Soup Kitchen and St. Bridget's Food Pantry are ministries of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, supported by the Brookline Food Rescue. Every Monday evening, the church serves a full restaurant-style hot dinner including an entrée, salad, bread, beverage, and dessert to approximately 80-100 guests. St. Bridget's Food Pantry distributes grocery bags designed to provide protein-rich meals to approximately 65-75 households each week. The Brookline Food Rescue also provides fresh rescued produce and additional groceries at this location. All are welcome regardless of documentation or residency. Guests are encouraged to bring sturdy bags or carts to carry food home. The program has operated every Monday for over 30 years without interruption.

    The Brookline Food Pantry serves any client in need of food assistance that has a Brookline address. New clients can register on site at their first visit. A photo ID and proof of Brookline address is needed to register. Proof of address could be a bank statement, electricity bill, lease, etc. Unfortunately, we are unable to register and provide food to those who do not live in Brookline.
