    Brooklyn New School-PS 146 is a New York City Department of Education public elementary school in Carroll Gardens that serves as a USDA Summer Food Service Program site during summer recess. Through the NYC Public Schools Free Summer Meals initiative, the school cafeteria provides free breakfast and lunch to any child or adolescent eighteen years old and younger. No identification, application, registration, or documentation of any kind is required, and meals are offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
