    Info

Helping Hands Food Pantry of Teaneck, also known as The Janice Preschel Project, is a volunteer-run nonprofit serving those in need in the Township of Teaneck and surrounding communities. The pantry distributes groceries at no cost and may also have clothing available to clients who visit. Teaneck residents may visit twice a week, while residents of neighboring towns may visit once a month. Adults must bring a photo identification and proof of their current address and household income, and children in the household require a birth certificate or guardianship papers. Updates, holiday turkey drives, and other announcements are shared through the pantry's Instagram and Facebook pages, and the team is supported entirely by volunteers in partnership with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
