    Info

Volunteer-driven community food bank founded by Angela Torres in spring 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic to support families in the Bronx. The operation began delivering fresh produce from Throggs Community Church, moved to a pop-up at First Schuyler Presbyterian Church, and established a permanent home at St. Benedict's Church. The alliance utilizes donations from local businesses to fight hunger and serves neighbors with dignity, compassion, and respect. In addition to the Throggs Neck location, they operate a second pantry site in Soundview and host community events beyond food distribution.
