Community grocery giveaways hosted by Women of Many Hats in partnership with RCCG Living Spring Church distribute free bags of groceries with fresh produce and pantry staples to West Philadelphia neighbors.

When the weather is bad we don’t close we just start as soon as set up is complete which is usually around 1pm.

This Playstreet location offers a summer meal program providing free meals for children 18 years of age and under. No ID is required for participation. The program operates seasonally, typically from mid-June to late August. For specific dates and times, please check the Philadelphia Parks & Recreation website (phila.gov/programs/playstreets/).

The Aydan Horton Foundation is a community food pantry and soup kitchen located at 127 S 58th Street, Philadelphia, PA. We are committed to helping individuals and families in the community by providing essential resources in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Playstreet is part of Philadelphia's Playstreets Program, which closes neighborhood blocks to traffic so children can enjoy a safe outdoor space with supervised recreation and free play equipment. Each weekday, Parks & Rec provides a free summer meal to all participants through the Summer Food Service Program.

The Free Market operates two distinct pantry programs. The Saturday pantry provides groceries every other Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM at Sherwood Park (57th and Baltimore Avenue). The Tuesday Porch Pantry distributes food from 5646 Cedar Avenue every other Tuesday. Both programs are first-come, first-serve, and clients should bring their own bags or carts.

Bayway Cares, LLC operates a Summer Camp Enrichment program for children ages 5-12 at Harrity Mastery Charter School. The summer camp includes a free Summer Meals Program providing breakfast and lunch to enrolled children. Activities include academic enrichment, homework help, dance, arts and crafts, sports, drama, and mentoring. The program accepts childcare subsidies. Walk-up porch pantry offering free groceries and fresh produce at the organization's headquarters. Neighbors choose what they need from available items on the porch. No appointment is required. Check their social pages for day-of updates and cancellations.
