The Bulb brings barrier-free mobile farmers markets to neighborhoods across Charlotte all year long. No sign-up. No ID. No cost. Just fresh food for all, shared with dignity-no questions asked. Each week, we host outdoor markets full of fresh, nutritious, and absolutely delicious produce. You'll find a rotating mix of seasonal fruits, veggies, herbs, and more. -When you visit, we may ask a few brief (and totally optional) questions. This helps us make sure we bring enough food for everyone and it supports the funding that keeps our markets running strong. Operated by Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, this recreation center hosts the USDA Summer Food Service Program (Seamless Summer Option) by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools School Nutrition Services during summer. Free, nutritious breakfast and lunch meals and snacks are served on-site to children and teens 18 and under. No registration, ID, or proof of income is required; meals must be eaten on-site.

Barrier‑free, donation‑based mobile farmers market pop‑up by The Bulb held on‑site at Peppertree Apartments that provides seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables to anyone in the community.

Update to FEMA Card Program We have received additional FEMA gift cards, and the program will reopen in June for clients with supplemental dietary needs. Reminder that clients may receive one referral per calendar year (Jan–Dec). Referrals must be CALLED in by medical providers ONLY.

Lemontree can provide the required referral for this pantry. Please reach out to our helpline for help getting a referral for a Nourish Up pantry. Nourish Up also runs pop-up food shares, where no referral, ID or financial documents are required. Pre-registration is required for these pop-ups.
