The Interfaith Food Pantry Network is the largest and most relied upon emergency and supplemental food resource serving Morris County residents in need. Using an innovative Client Choice model, enrolled neighbors are assigned a regular schedule to shop in a marketplace-style setting, choosing from shelf-stable groceries, fresh produce, meats, eggs, dairy, breads, prepared items, baby food, diapers, low-sodium and low-sugar items, and personal care products. Programs include the Margaret A. Darrin Healthy Choices Marketplace, a Free Farmers Market, Emergency Food bags for non-enrolled families in immediate need, motel-ready food bags for those experiencing homelessness, the sun Senior Umbrella Nutrition program with home delivery and supplemental bags, a Friendship Bag program for seniors, a Pantry Partner distribution network backing smaller community pantries, a Healthy Snacks program for partner sites, and on-site nutrition education with cooking demonstrations and recipes offered in English and Spanish.

NMIC's Benefits Access team screens New Yorkers for public-benefit eligibility and provides assistance with applications and case management for over 40 different public benefits, including SNAP and housing issues. They also operate a food pantry with a lottery system; registration for the lottery takes place on Mondays. If you don't win the lottery, your name is automatically added to the next one.

The food pantry operates on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 5 PM. Distribution of food typically starts between 11:30 AM and 12 PM, with clients often lining up earlier due to high demand. No ID is required for services; clients only need to sign a sheet upon arrival

NYC Love Kitchen is a faith-driven emergency food pantry serving the Inwood community of Upper Manhattan. Housed at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, the organization provides free groceries to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. In addition to its food pantry services, NYC Love Kitchen offers educational workshops in nutrition and financial literacy and referrals to community resources.

Clients must demonstrate residency in Washington Heights or Inwood. Distribution takes place in front of the building.

Outdoor, walk-in food pantry operated by Borough Community Action Network (BCAN) providing free groceries to local residents as part of BCAN’s network of weekly pantries; BCAN also offers nutrition education programming and a mobile soup kitchen.

Weekly community food pantry hosted at the Nuevo Siglo Social Adult Day Center in Inwood and supported by Nuevo Siglo Cares, with Borough Community Action Network aiming to address food insecurity in the community.

Free, confidential campus pantry providing groceries and personal care items to currently registered Columbia University students. Students place an order online and pick it up at the pantry. There are no fees to use the pantry.
