Mt Olivet Gospel Church is a faith-based Gospel congregation in Queens that runs a free food pantry as a ministry of Christian outreach. The church welcomes community members who need groceries and prayer support, believing that strong communities come from people helping one another.

Queens Public Library hosts a free Summer Meals program in partnership with New York City Public Schools, providing ready-to-eat lunches on-site at the East Elmhurst branch. The meals are open to all children and teens eighteen years old and younger, with no enrollment, identification, or paperwork required. Kids can grab a meal and enjoy it at the library each weekday during the program window.
