A city market-style food bank that provides free groceries and clothing to families in need on a weekly basis. Operated by Family Life Community Center in Northeast Washington, DC. Emergency assistance is available 7 days a week.

A DC Department of Parks and Recreation summer meal site that provides free, nutritious, USDA-compliant breakfast and lunch to children and youth ages 18 and younger during summer break. No registration, ID, or proof of income is required; meals are served on-site on a first-come, first-served basis. The site is part of the District's federally-funded Summer Food Service Program (DC Youth Meals Program / OSSE) that operates at over 100 locations citywide.

DC Public Schools summer meal site serving free meals and snacks to children and youth 18 and younger through the USDA Summer Food Service Program, operated locally as the DC Youth Meals Program. Operated by DCPS Food and Nutrition Services (DCPSEats) at the McKinley Technology Education Campus. Open to the surrounding community as well as enrolled students; no application, no ID, and no income verification required to receive a meal.

The Reservoir Park Recreation Center hosts a no-cost summer meal site as part of the DC Youth Meals Program, the District's USDA Summer Food Service Program that fills the hunger gap for children when school is out. Children 18 and younger can stop by during lunch service to receive a free, ready-to-eat meal and snack, with no application, registration, or ID required. The modern facility, which opened in 2024 on the former McMillan Sand Filtration site, is operated by the DC Department of Parks and Recreation and features a fitness center, multi-purpose room, art walk, indoor pool, spray parks, playground, large grass field, and a historic fountain surrounding six acres of public space.
