Cecil and Grace Bean's Soup Kitchen is an independent nonprofit (501(c)(3)) serving free hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the Norristown community. Originally founded in 1979 by St. John's Church, the program grew under the decades-long leadership of Grace Bean (later joined by her husband Cecil), and in 2015 became its own separate nonprofit named in their honor. Today, volunteer teams from local churches, schools, families, and corporations prepare and serve more than 500 meals each week. Every guest is welcomed warmly and greeted with Grace's motto: "God loves you, and so do we!"

Martha’s Choice Marketplace is a ministry of Catholic Charities of Philadelphia and provides fresh produce, meats, dairy and nonperishables to low-income families in Montgomery County, PA. The amount of food provided per visit will vary based on the food we have in stock, however we aim for about 5 days’ worth of nutritious food to provide with each visit.  When available, Martha’s also has diapers, soaps, laundry detergent and feminine hygiene products.

Montgomery County OIC is a non-profit education and workforce development center that hosts a Summer Meals Program providing free breakfast and lunch to children 18 and under. The program operates as a Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) site. The organization also offers GED instruction and testing, workforce development, ESL classes, CDL training, childcare, before and after school care, and Camp XTREME summer camp.
