  6. Can someone deliver the food to my house?

    Delivery services are very limited and are reserved for senior citizens or those with serious medical problems. If you believe you fall into either category, let us know and we may be able to help you find options.

  7. What do I have to bring?

    Every location is different! Please review the details included on each resource to see whether you need to bring any documentation like ID or proof of address, or supplies like bags to carry the food. If you don’t see any information on the resource, you don’t have to bring anything!

    New clients must call for an appointment 732 356-0081. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
    Food Room: Open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9 a.m.-12 noon and the third Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. (excluding July & August). Limited capacity, arrive early. Clients are limited to once a month service and must show proof of residency in Piscataway, Dunellen, Middlesex, South Plainfield, Edison, Highland Park or Green Brook. Must show proof of need (eg. TANF, SSI, WIC, FOOD STAMPS, MEDICAID, DISABILITY, WELFARE, UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION) or show proof of low household income not in excess of Federal Guidelines. Canned and refrigerated food donations, personal care products and pet food accepted. Fishes & Loaves Cafe: Free, home-cooked dinners for anyone in need the third Friday of each month (excluding July & August). Eat-In the cafe 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. or take-out meals. Held at the former school cafeteria at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, New Market Road, Piscataway. All are welcome!
