    Community members must show proof that they reside in Edgewood or Joppa, MD (21040 OR 21085) through a government-issued ID and a piece of mail received in the last 30 days. Community members must bring proof of income and be within 200% of the poverty line. If they have proof of receiving disability (either SSI or SSDI), medical assistance, housing vouchers, or food assistance, they do not have to provide proof of income. In the event an individual does not have any income or receive benefits, the individual must sign an affidavit of understanding and work with our case manager to apply for benefits. Individuals must show proof of dependents living in their home via one of the following documents: birth certificates, social security cards, school enrollment paperwork, or court documents. If multiple adults live at the same address, each adult must provide documentation of eligibility. Individuals must go through the vetting process every 90 days. The exception to this is if the individual has a permanent disability or permanent fixed income, in which case they will be vetted every six months.
