Summer EBT Outreach Toolkit" https://hungerfreenj.org/summer-ebt-2024/ NJ SNAP is a nutrition assistance program to help individuals and families with low incomes buy the groceries they need to eat healthy with a benefits card accepted in most food retail stores and some farmers markets. Eligibility is determined by several factors, such as income and resources.

Bags of food are given to your neighbors in need.
Currently close to 75 to 100 households are served.
Some people in these households are unemployed
Often there is not enough income
Some have physical or mental disabilities
There are home-bound seniors
Quite a few are single-parent households
