Church-run program providing free grocery distributions and prepared meals. For the food pantry, distributions are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Clients must arrive between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM due to long lines; service is first-come, first-served. A picture ID and your own shopping cart or bag are required. Visits are limited to once per month per household. The soup kitchen serves meals on Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and clients can attend every Saturday. The church also periodically runs clothing/coat drives.

Every Day is a Miracle is a food organization program operating across New York City with sites in The Bronx and Harlem. This location operates as a client-choice, supermarket-style food pantry, distributing free, fresh, and well-balanced groceries. Appointments are optional and used to minimize wait times; walk-in on-site registration is available. Delivery of fresh groceries is available at no cost for expectant mothers, new parents (newborn up to 2 months old), elderly residents (65+), and homebound or disabled individuals. Golden Era Social Adult Day Care is a bilingual (English/Spanish) senior center in Inwood that provides a safe and engaging environment for older adults. The center offers free breakfast and lunch, free round-trip transportation, and a wide range of daily activities including art classes, music therapy, karaoke, walking groups, English and computer classes, and social celebrations. Personalized care is provided by bilingual professional staff in a welcoming community setting designed to keep seniors active, connected, and supported. A food pantry for groceries is also available on site.

Our food pantry is open every TUESDAY downstairs in the Father Smith Center. Tickets are required and are given out at 9:00 AM. Pantry services are available to people who live in the immediate neighborhood of 630 Isham Street, New York, NY, 10034. Registration happens on-site. Bring an ID and proof of address until you receive a client card. They only allow one person per household (address) to become a client at a time. If you live with someone who is already a client, they will turn you away. Delivery services are only available for clients who live in Inwood. The program, Inwood Meals-on-Heels, is very limited and is reserved for clients with disabilities or serious health issues. This program is currently full and has a waiting list. If you are an Inwood resident on disability (and have documentation), you may inquire about being added to the waiting list by contacting foodpantry@cis-nyc.org. The Cabrini Immigrant Services Food Pantry suggests that you bring a cart. Bring an ID and proof of address until you receive a client card. After you receive a client card, bring your client card each time you come. No appointment necessary, but clients cannot pick up a food package two weeks in a row. The Cabrini Immigrant Services Food Pantry offers grocery-style items such as canned food, fresh produce, frozen meat, and dry goods like pasta or rice that you can cook yourself. Heavenly Vision Christian Center is a multicultural Pentecostal church in the Bronx that operates a community food pantry funded by Food Bank for New York City. The pantry distributes groceries that include fresh produce along with dry and frozen goods, with kosher and halal options available occasionally. The ministry focuses on serving the spiritual and material needs of neighborhood families and welcomes all community members.

The Herbert H. Lehman Food Bank is a campus-based food pantry operated by Lehman College's Basic Needs Center, fighting food insecurity among college students by providing free groceries, fresh produce, and pantry staples. Students can choose from canned vegetables, fruits, proteins, dairy, grains, eggs, snacks, and seasonal fresh produce during a dedicated weekly distribution. The program also offers grab-and-go snacks, online grocery cards, cooking demonstrations, and broader basic-needs support. Since opening in March 2017, it has served over 112,000 meals and continues to grow — distributing more than 11,800 grocery bags to nearly 700 unique students in the 2024-2025 academic year alone.

Masjidus Sabur is a multi‑service worship center that runs a community pop‑up food pantry. It provides fresh produce and halal‑certified groceries to local residents, operating on a first‑come‑first‑serve basis with optional appointment scheduling through the Plentiful app.
