• They mostly deal with people who are are in need of medical services i.e disabled, chronic diseases, HIV. To get signed up to their program one would need to enroll and this can be done by either walk ins or call ahead for the enrollment process

Everyone who wishes to receive food must be registered. Registration occurs during the hours of distribution only. You must bring identification, social benefits card(s), and proof of residence for all the members of your household.

Alliance’s Midtown Central site offers basic‑needs support including emergency pantry services and monthly food pantry packages (nine complete meals), plus access to the Wonderful Wearables clothing room and toiletries. These services are part of the Alliance’s broader support for New Yorkers living with HIV and other chronic health conditions.

Phipps Neighborhoods’ Food Access program provides weekly emergency pantry meal kits from its Bronx centers and connects clients with nutrition education, SNAP/benefits enrollment, financial counseling, and workforce supports. The program prioritizes culturally relevant foods, including fresh produce and proteins, to help families improve food security.

On‑site soup kitchen (Hinton’s Cafe) providing hot, ready‑to‑eat meals three times daily, seven days a week, open to anyone in need. Located within the Mainchance Drop‑In Center, a multi‑service program offering emergency overnight shelter, case management, housing assistance, medical care, showers, clothing, and other supports for people experiencing homelessness.
