Kingdom Harvest Bibleway Church, also known as The Harvest, is a faith-based congregation in the Nevin community of Charlotte, NC. Each summer the church partners with CMS School Nutrition Services to operate a USDA Summer Food Service Program site, providing free, nutritious breakfast and lunch meals to children in the community.

Update to FEMA Card Program We have received additional FEMA gift cards, and the program will reopen in June for clients with supplemental dietary needs. Reminder that clients may receive one referral per calendar year (Jan–Dec). Referrals must be CALLED in by medical providers ONLY.

Lemontree can provide the required referral for this pantry. Please reach out to our helpline for help getting a referral for a Nourish Up pantry. Nourish Up also runs pop-up food shares, where no referral, ID or financial documents are required. Pre-registration is required for these pop-ups. Clients may pick up diapers once per month during pantry hours, with or without a referral, as supplies are available.

This ministry has a group of families who have come to count on us to get them thru hard times and are so appreciative of the help.

Hosts the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Summer Meal Program, a USDA-funded initiative that provides free meals and snacks to children and teens eighteen and younger during summer break. Operated by CMS School Nutrition Services in partnership with the church, meals are served ready-to-eat on-site. No registration, documentation, or proof of income is required. The church campus also hosts additional community resources through its partnerships with local nonprofits.

Clients should note that the line for food distribution typically begins forming at 10:00 AM on Saturdays. Food distribution starts at 12:00 PM.

W.I.T.H. @ The Heights Ministry offers free ready-to-eat meals for children and teens 18 and under during the summer. Registration may be required at some meal sites. Families may be eligible for SUN Bucks grocery benefits; check ncdhhs.gov/SUNBucks for eligibility and details.
