The New Antioch Church food pantry has served the community with hunger relief for nearly 12 years. Run with the help of weekly volunteers, the pantry provides groceries to low-income individuals and families, including the Hispanic community. Bishop Corey L. Simpson oversees the pantry operations.

Clients may pick up diapers once per month during pantry hours, with or without a referral, as supplies are available.

Hickory Grove Recreation Center is a Mecklenburg County park and recreation facility that hosts a USDA Summer Meal Program site sponsored by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Free breakfast and lunch are provided on-site to children and youth ages 18 and under, with no registration, no ID, and no documentation required.
