This Playstreet is part of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation's Summer Food Service Program. The street is closed to vehicle traffic during operating hours so neighborhood children can play in a safe, supervised outdoor space. Staff provide free nutritious lunches or snacks each day, along with free play equipment and supervision. The site is one of roughly 300 to 350 city streets citywide that take part each summer, offering kids a fun place to play and stay fed while school is out.
