Offers a free outdoor pantry and little library that operates as take what you need, leave what you can. Find or donate items including pantry staples, clothing, hygiene items, and books. They also host community events offering free meals, household items, back-to-school supplies, and winter clothing. Visit their website and social media pages for upcoming events.

Franklin and Delaware County residents do not need a referral. Just visit www.lssfoodpantries.org, register, place an order and make a pickup appointment. Produce-only visits do not need to be scheduled and are available during pantry business hours.

For Caldwell and Southeast Ohio mobile food pantries, call 877-704-3663. Referrals to the mobile pantry can be made one week prior to its visitation date.

Clients must bring ID as well as an ID for every member of their household. For adults, photo IDs (Driver’s License or state ID) are accepted. For children, birth certificates, Social Security cards, insurance cards or school IDs are accepted.

Service Description: Provides emergency food assistance, including a three-day supply of food and free daily produce. Donated diapers are available while supplies last and must be picked up with a food box. Eligibility: Must be a resident of zip codes 43222, 43223 or 43215 (west of the river). Individuals are eligible to receive food once every month. Intake Process: Telephone. Walk-in. Documents: Photo ID and a piece of mail to verify residency. Distribution is on last Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday but due to Holiday Months Distribution will be on second last days of the month Service Description: Food pantry that offers an emergency supply of three to five days’ worth of food. Eligibility: Residents of 43205, 43206 or 43215 Intake Process: Walk-in Documents: ID for each household member. Current proof of address (within last 90 days)

Public transportation accessible Service Description: Offers a choice food pantry. Limited supplies of diapers may be available. Eligibility: Households living in zip codes 43203, 43205, 43209, 43213 and 43215 are eligible to receive food assistance once every 30 days. Other Franklin County residents are eligible to receive a temporary assistance package (no meat or milk) once. There are also free farm markets offered for all Franklin County residents in the summer. (Visit website for specific dates.) Intake Process: Curbside or walk-thru (wait in garden for volunteer to come to you). First come, first served. Documents: Photo ID and proof of address.

Public transportation accessible Service Description: Offers a daily hot meal to community members. Eligibility: Anyone Intake Process: Walk-in. There is a dress code. Guests should make sure skirts/shorts are worn to the knee. All shirts must have sleeves. Documents: No documents required

Service Description: Offers a weekly take-a-way meal, must come around the back. Eligibility: Anyone Hours: Sat., 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Intake Process: Walk-in Documents: No documents required
