Part of the Solution (POTS) provides healthy groceries and meals. The Food Pantry distributes groceries to households. Registration is required on-site, typically Monday through Saturday from 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM. The Community Dining Room offers a healthy lunch six days a week from 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM. Case management is available for walk-ins on Mondays from 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. They also offer additional services such as dentistry, a barbershop, hot meals, and free English classes.

If distribution falls on a holiday or inclement weather, call 718-364-4320 (church office) to confirm if they are open.

The food pantry operates every Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Clients need a state ID and a basket or bag to carry food

Distribution takes place inside the Twin Parks West Community Center, which is located behind 365 Ford Street. Appointments are made on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month.

EmblemHealth Neighborhood Care’s Fordham Road center periodically hosts free community food distribution events that offer fresh produce and shelf-stable groceries; participation requires advance registration and distribution is first‑come, first‑served while supplies last. The center also provides in‑person customer service, health and wellness programming, and connections to local resources.

Louise’s Pantry, operated by Nazareth Housing, is a client‑choice food pantry that provides nutritious groceries—including fresh produce and baby formula—while connecting families to additional supports through intake, benefits screening, and referrals.

Masjidus Sabur is a multi‑service worship center that runs a community pop‑up food pantry. It provides fresh produce and halal‑certified groceries to local residents, operating on a first‑come‑first‑serve basis with optional appointment scheduling through the Plentiful app.

Church-based outreach ministry of Second Prince of Peace Baptist Church that provides grocery/food pantry distributions to neighborhood residents on an as‑announced basis. No current public schedule is posted; callers should contact the church for the latest distribution dates and availability.

Free community dining room serving nutritionally balanced lunches; guests can dine in or take meals to go.
