Elmcor operates a supermarket-style, participant-choice food pantry on the third floor of the Louis Armstrong Recreational Center. The pantry serves an average of more than 600 families each week, distributing enough food to prepare over 7,500 meals. Clients can select their own groceries with family-size specific options rather than receiving pre-packaged boxes. The pantry also provides referrals to partner organizations for additional support services. On-site registration is required for first-time visitors.
