A USDA Summer Food Service Program site operated by the Douglas County School System School Nutrition Department, serving free hot lunch meals to children during the summer months. The DCSS program earned the USDA Turnip the Beet Gold Award for summer meal excellence, recognized for serving hot meals rather than cold bag lunches, with a varied menu including fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and local foods.
